    A raised lift bridge shuts down biking, scooting and walking at once, and no routing app on earth knows it happened. Milwaukee has many across three rivers. There is no feed and no registry anywhere. This is the one dataset Baiku intends to create rather than collect.

    Getting to a show is easy. Getting home at 11:40 is when Bublr thins out and buses go hourly. Your late-night options, honestly ranked:
    Check the bus firstSome MCTS routes run late. A scheduled bus beats a surge price.
    Uber or LyftThe honest answer when nothing else is running. No shame in it; that is what they are for at midnight.
    Two feetUnder a mile on lit streets, walking is often fastest. Stick to main streets, stay visible, and trust your gut. Just be safe.
    Live route matching isn't built yet, so Baiku can't verify tonight's last departure. Check the MCTS app before relying on a late bus.

    About these numbers

    Every number in Baiku is live from the operator, published by the source, or clearly labelled an estimate. Bike data is live. Bus, streetcar and scooter integrations are built and appear as their relays come online. Travel times are estimates from assumed speeds, marked ~ when the distance was estimated too. The source-by-source detail lives in the fine print.

    What Baiku is

    Baiku is an all-in-one urban mobility platform that helps people plan, navigate, and experience a city using every available way of getting around.
    Users select their city, and Baiku brings together real-time bikeshare and scooter availability, public transit, walking and cycling routes, parking, accessibility information, destinations, events, safety alerts, and other local transportation data in one place.
    It is more than a map or a city guide. Baiku is a functional mobility tool designed to help someone answer three questions:
    1Where can I go?
    2How should I get there?
    3What is happening when I arrive?
    The platform can support trip planning across multiple transportation modes, connect people with nearby services and experiences, surface live conditions, and adapt to the transportation systems and culture of each city.
    Rather than replacing local organisations or competing with transportation providers, Baiku connects their information and makes it easier for residents and visitors to decide where to go and how to get there.

    One city is live, so the picker shows one city. The engine is city-agnostic — a new city is a feed list and a bounding box, not a rewrite. A city becomes selectable when its feeds are verified the way Milwaukee's were.

    Baiku is not a bike app. It is a modular travel platform — every mode is a module, and a real trip chains them together. Walk to the dock, ride to the stop, take the bus, walk the last block. If one link breaks the whole trip fails, which is why Baiku tracks all of them at once.

    Real, measured along streets. Not a suggested route — it will not follow the Oak Leaf or the Riverwalk, so tap Directions for the actual way to ride

What does leave: the text you type goes to the OpenStreetMap geocoder, route end points go to OSRM, and an approximate position goes to Open-Meteo — each listed above.
